Great food ,wonderful staff and comfortable inside or outside. We had a fabulous weekday lunch with a nice French wine. Bill the owner deserves All around 5 stars. Cheers
Lovely place. Cozy atmosphere and great food. Loved the choice of appetizers. Stuff is nice. Service was a bit slow, but the place was packed so it’s understandable. Loved it!
I recently dined at a delightful French restaurant, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. The grilled octopus, calamari, and mussels dish were amazing . Each element was cooked to perfection, and wonderfully tender. The combination of flavors was a true culinary delight.
Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was also great. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Their warm hospitality elevated the dining experience. If you're looking for a place with delectable seafood and impeccable service, this French restaurant is an absolute must-visit.
foods are great, the desserts are amazing, they have a good atmosphere, staffs are friendly
A cozy spot with indoors and outdoors seating, and menu items you would generally find at a French bistro (charcuterie, mussels à la provençale, duck confit, etc.).
I originally gave this restaurant 5 stars, but after my recent experience, I have to downgrade it to 2 stars.
I went to this restaurant last night with my friend and was very disappointed with the service. He disappeared for most of the meal. He was mostly watching TV, and only came to our table to deliver drinks.
I was also very disappointed to see that the restaurant now charges a mandatory 20% tip. We were just two people, and our server didn't do much to earn a tip. I think he knew that no matter what the service, he would still get a 20% tip. I believe that mandatory tipping is unfair to both customers and employees.
I hope that the restaurant will address these issues in the future. If they do, I would be happy to give them another chance. However, for now, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Great local French cousin, nice bar, great service. Unfortunately we were there on a very hot and steamy day, and the AC in the restaurant couldn't keep up with the weather. Other than that you should try them. Everything we tried was pretty good. The seafood medley was great, bon marrow with mushrooms are awesome. The duck was really good and muscles as well. I also really liked the anchovy toast. On the down side was tuna/salmon tartar (it was bland) and for some reason the house bread wasn't as good as you would expect from the French restaurant. Other than that the place is great, just know what to order.
Didn’t understand why tips are forced to include but only receiving such unsatisfying services. Service only worth 5% tips because we used butter knives to finish our meal….. the server only checked once “how is everything” when I got all food in your mouth. Most importantly, the server didn’t give the change back after we paid cash and he thought he didn’t have to.
If the service quality would remain at this level in the future , I would say you guys are destroying your reputation and be aware that the recession is coming.
No one question me on “how to tips” , ”what kind of service a restaurant”, I paid 35% tips at Paris because they deserved that; I paid $1 tip at Vancouver because the server disappeared for the whole time.
